On the monthly calendar view, an underline in blue beneath the date indicates that you have written down a journal for that day. Click on that date, a preview of your diary will show on the bottom of the screen. Double click the date or push the 'Edit' menu will take you into the editing view. You can also easily navigate to the previous and next months, go to a specific date, or return to 'today'.  The editing view adjusts its orientation automatically when your device senses an orientation change.  Website links, email addresses, and phone numbers are clickable in the journal preview.
